We are excited to announce the 4th Annual KIEDC Youth Humanitarian Awards Event (YHA) at Yale University. This exciting weekend will take place from October 11th to 13th, 2024 and is proudly presented by the Kingdom International Economic Development Corporation (KIEDC), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1988, whose mission is meeting needs and solving problems for the benefit of all humanity.

 

The primary objective of the YHA is to raise funds for scholarships that will directly benefit deserving young individuals. We believe that every child deserves a chance to flourish and have access to quality education and industry opportunities, and through this event, we aim to make a meaningful impact on their lives.

 

The weekend festivities will kick off on Friday morning, 10/11/24, with the free Youth Talent Showcase at Yale’s Woolsey Hall. Some performers will be selected to perform later in the evening at the Youth Humanitarian Awards and Scholarship Gala at Yale’s Woolsey Hall which will be at 7 pm with doors opening at 5 pm for the red carpet. The elegant evening will be a celebration of youth and their outstanding achievements hosted by Connecticut’s own actor and philanthropist, Chase W. Dillon.

 

On Saturday, 10/12/24, we will host the Youth Humanitarian Awards Entertainment Industry Workshops location at the Rose Center Yale University in New Haven,CT. The Saturday workshops, which require a paid registration to attend due to activities fee and lunch, will also be hosted by Chase W. Dillon. A film study workshop will also be done all day Saturday for only 50 registered youth (selection required). High-level entertainment industry executives and celebrities will share their expertise and knowledge with the children and parents.
